Device Manager & X-Fi....

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium x64 Edition. I have 4GB of ram and a
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music. With that said, I have horrible
crackling/popping sounds coming out of my speakers. When I remove 2GB, the
sound is great but that would defeat the purpose of running 4GB.

I found a temp solution, if I go into the Device Manager and disable the
X-Fi, the reboot my computer then go back into the Device Manager and enable
my X-Fi the sound is perfect. However if I reboot again without disabling
the X-fi I get the crackling/popping issue.

1. With the 4 Gig enabled there is terrible SCP and unusable performance.
2. With the memory hole disabled (forcing 3 Gig) sound is more acceptable
but stability is still an issue.
3. Disabling the card before shutdown and re-enabling once the OS is started
seems to mitigate most of the problem if not all, with the 4 Gig enabled.

Is there a way I can set up some sort of a macro that basically when I go to
shutdown or restart my computer it auto disables the X-fi in the Device
Manager and whenever I boot up my computer it auto enables the X-fi in the
Device Manager?
