I have in my systems device manager the settings for the adapters
listed, is this listed in everyone's?

Network Adapters
3Com Ethernet Controller - Enabled
1394 Net Adapter - Disabled
NCIDA nForce MCP Network Adapter - Disabled

I had some trouble with my internet connection before I disabled the
two adapters, since I have no problem connecting to the internet on
either computer. I just can't get my 2nd WinXP home computer to print
to my printer that's connected to my WinXP pro computer, through the
Linksys router. I am missing a part to setup printer sharing even
though I used the wizard it's always a no go.
Thanks for your time

If you are running XP pro you have to set a number of sharing permissions as
an administrator. I can't tell you the details but the best place to start
looking is to check if you can see files on either system from either
system. YOu need to have administrative rights on the XP pro machine to make
sharing work. My guess is the problem you had with the adapters was due to
the same permissions issue.

Lots of luck be prepared to play around a bit its not really straight
forward.

The guest account has to be turned on for print sharing to work. You should
check the microsoft groups for these types of problems.
