ahter updating firmware form a dvdburner and restart, my external hard drive
letter was changed.
My dvdburner has the letter that my usb hard drive had.

Right click on 'My Computer', select Manage, then in the Storage category
select Disk Management. Take your external drive and temporarily assign it a
new letter (right click on the drive and select the Change drive letter
option), now change the DVD drive to the letter it originally was. Finally
change the external drive letter to the letter you want it to be.
