The device manager is acknowledging my audio driver is properly installed
and running, but when I go into the Sounds and Audio Devices it says there
is No Audio Device. I have a Compaq F767NR with the Conexant SmartAudio
221. If I can figure out how to get this running properly I can dump the
piece of trash called Vista and get some work done.

Mike, do you have WinXP 64? Try the drivers at these sites
http://www.bioticaindia.com/high-def...audio-221.html

Hey, I can't remember where I found it, but I have a driver install work
around that works great with my audio under 32 bit XP (using havedisk)

However, when i tried it under 64bit it wouldnt accept the driver, I am not
sure if someone around knows more and can get it to work with 64 bit, if so
that would be awesome!
