Im not the one who needs the help, but since my friend
cant start his computer anymore and because of this Im
the one who asks you.
He gets an window that says Device driver found (Generic
softK56), he doesn't even have an modem installed to his
computer because he is using network-based modem (dont
know what else to call it), then the computer works for
another ~10 secs. and then it crashes. Does anyone know
what it is and how to fix it?

Has your friend attempted to start the PC in safe mode?
Once you can get in using safe mode he/she will be able to
access devices and verify if a modem device has somehow
been installed. If it is present then removing it should
fix the problem after re-starting.

This is just a suggestion, which may or may not fix the
problem.

Good luck.
