I keep getting a device driver error. It seemed to start
happening after I downloaded the windows updates in
August. I thought I had the blaster worm because my
computer kept rebooting. My hard drive crashed and so I
bought a new hard drive thinking I had a virus. So when
I reinstalled windows XP I keep getting the same error.
I don't know what to do. Any help?

These are the error messages from the event logs.

Error code 00000024, parameter1 001902fa, parameter2
f2789770, parameter3 f2789470, parameter4 f8417a50.

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2
bf87ae01, parameter3 f285a460, parameter4 00000000.

Error code 0000001a, parameter1 00041284, parameter2
009dc000, parameter3 00000371, parameter4 c0503000.

I am having the same problem. It is driving me crazy!
Does anyone know the fix?

Whats going on? i know about 10 cases similar to this,
maybe we should email bomb microsoft to get some
answers..Its getting anoying.. same problems pc keep
restarting ..problem cause by a device driver, dont know
which one, it happen firt day i wnet online.. is not a
virus alreayd check for that..
if its a sotware i intalled i cnat figured out which one..
the rest of the hardware came with the pc
