I acquired a Inno3D plate GeForce4 MX440SE plugged in AGP slot.
In the process of boot of windows xp, in the end, I see a black screen. When
access the video properties - > advanced - > GeForce 4mx, is shown this
black screen again and when I load nview in windows stats the black screen
appears again!

Then I installed 44.03 and it fixed the problem, but after a couple of hours
it came back.

I am using last versions of drivers agp, and directx 9.0b
My BIOS is last version 030121. I try re-install driver 44.03 (driver
cleaner, safe mode and re-install) and directx but problem persists!

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (All Updates in W.U.)

What should I do?

This was always so with nVidia drivers, and this is a normal way of their
operation.

What?? Ive personally had the same 3 second blackouts
wihth my Geforce2 and they are WAY TO uncomfortable and
just suck. They can tbe normal.

BTW i fixed the issue by downgrading the video card
driver.
Try to change driver till you find 1 that sort of works
Or better yet... change video card!!
