device is disabled (code 22) for CD ROM

Hi,
I am trying to enable a CD ROM that I have used before
on my XP Laptop however the message above appears when I
choose enable device.i had temporarily disabled the
device via the device manager.

Where can i get more info-is there a conflict ?
