I see the above error in the Event Viewer.
It happens every time I try to burn an audio cd.
The Event ID is 7.
Record Now says the cd was successful but it won't play
on a cd player and locks up the computer it I try to play
it on it.
Anyone else had this problem?

I've seen this message when installing software from CD media on a system
that was having problems with memory. When I researched the error at the
time, I found several references to memory problems and a few that said
this also shows up with some CDs that included a certain form of copyright.

Unfortunately it ended up that there was a roundabout problem with RAM. The
RAM was fine but there was a memory slot on the motherboard that was not
working right. Once that board was replaced (and still using the same
drive), the error never appeared again.
