Hi

I would like to determine the HAL required by a PC without
installing an OS. Is there anyway I can do this easily
with DOS or Windows PE for example?

Thanks for your help.

Susan

Hi Carey

Thanks for your response. The URL you provided looks very
useful, but I don't want to go as far as installing XP. I
would like to be able to find out the HAL required before I
put an OS on the machine. Ultimately I would like to use
the information I collect with disk imaging to cut the
build process for new PCs.

Any ideas?

Susan
