That is going to nearly impossible as pst-files are not always linked to
Outlook. The default location is in the user profile which is a dead give
away on who it belongs to of course. Reading the owner of the NTFS
permissions is possible too.
If you have a large client base you mind want to turn things around; provide
them with the location where to store their emails and instructions on how
to do that. Notify them that within a month (or which ever timeframe your
schedule is) pst-file access and support will be dropped.
I assume you mean with keeping messages server side is within the Exchange
mailbox so that your serverside archiving system can do its job? Note that
connecting to pst-files on a networkshare is not supported or recommended by
Microsoft.
