I've installed an old printer using a driver downloaded
from HP. I installed a officejet 630 using that driver.
XP pro now thinks that it detects it everytime I reboot
even though it's installed and working fine. How do I make
it stop thinking that it's found new hardware? I
appreciate any help that I can get.

Is the driver you downloaded from HP for the correct
printer and is it XP compatible?

Have you tried uninstalling the printer driver and printer
from your system, rebooting and letting WinXP loadup the
printer and try to find the drivers by itself?
