How to detect storage device driver is installed on the system

I want to detect whether device driver is installed for a storage device or
not using C++ or Windows API.

The DevCon sample source code in the Windows DDK (Windows Driver Development
Kit) shows how to do this using the Windows Setup APIs. You can download the
DDK from Microsoft at:

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/ddk/default.mspx
