date created :8/15/02 and date modified 3/27/02
" " : " " " 6/24/02
I don't understand and owner is some long #s-1-5-21-_ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _-_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _-_ _ _ _ In folders
C:\Program
Files\support.com\client\lserver\Actions|Software|Windows
in Type: TAC File Attributes: A

I thought created would be dated prior to modified?????
Am I stupid????

Created isn't necessarily before modified. Created could be when it
was placed in the location that it is at on your hard drive. Modified
is when the file was actually changed. Most programs for example will
show as being modified (when they were last compiled) before they were
created (installed on *your* machine).

If you created the file on your machine, then the created date will be
before modified. If the file originated elsewhere on some other
machine, that is often when you see the modified date before the
created date.
