When I right click on my desktop and hit Properties when the window pops up
there is no desktop tap. Also when I right click on a picture and click, "Set
as Background" nothing happens, any suggestions?

Thanks to Kellys Korner. Go to Start>Run type: gpedit.msc
Then select User Configuration/ Administrative Templates/Windows
Components/Windows Explorer/Turn off Classic Shell.

Desktop Tab Missing

If you set the "Use Classic Shell" in GP, it hides that desktop tab.

Start>Run, and type:
regsvr32 /i shell32
regsvr32 themeui

Reboot the computer.
