destop appears horizontal....

      30th Apr 2007
my desktop changed from normal to horizontal( all icons ect are lined up
horizontally, 90 degrees from normal) .. any ideas how to correct???

Try Pressing CTRL+ALT + Arrow UP or Right or Left or Down.
Also you can Right click your Desktop and see if there is a properties to
Rotate the display 90 Deg.

This is controlled by your video adapter's driver. Right-click an
empty part of your desktop, chose "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
Click the "Settings" tab, and click the "Advanced" button on that
page.

Look for a tab of setting on that page that says "Orientation" or
"Rotation" or something like that. On my machine the tab is
"Rotation", and I can rotate the screen anywhich direction. I can also
assign a hotkey to rotate it. Something similar will be available on
your machine.
