Desperately Seeking MCT

After burning an MP3 c.d. the windows media player that
came up to play it was an old version 6.4.09.1125 and it
plays erratically. I can still bring up windows media
player that came with my win xp, but cannot find a way to
use it for the MP3. I also ran a search for the older one
and cannot find it on my computer anywhere.....HELP!
