I desperately miss Report Manage in Excel - what replaces it in 2

I and quite of few of my colleagues got used to using Report Manager add-in.
We have sorely missed it. Now that we are migrating to Office 2007 what, if
anything replaces it or has it made a comeback?

It should be worth at least trying the report manager from Excel 2003 in
2007.

Jim,

Forgive lack of coffee this am - but, without 2003, how do I use the report
mgr addin from 2203 in 2007? Where do I even find it?

If you haven't tossed your old Office CDs it should be on one of them.
Reinstall it if you have to. Or surely some old machine somewhere still has
old Office on it. Hey, lets think outside the box!<g>.

Find Reports.xla, copy it to the other machines and do a simple File, Open
on it in Excel 2007. I just tried it and "Report Manager" showed up on the
Add-ins tab. Looks good.

I have downloaded and extracted reports.xla and saved it to the appropriate
folder. It appears in the Options|Add-ins list but does not appear to
actually load. If I File|Open Report.Xla it adds the Add-Ins tab (after I
enable the macros) thus allowing me to use the Report Manager for that
session of Excel, but I lose that every time I exit Excel.

Any suggestions??

If you want it to load with Excel just move it to your XLSTART folder under
the Excel application folder.

Replying to myself - got it working via the add-in in options. Now is
available all the time.
