Does anyone know the industry standard for how many users
per tech for helpdesk/desktop support? Also can you send
me a link to any site that may have this?

Depends mostly on the "user" type.

Yeah, it really depends on appliations and users. I have approx. 400 pc's
that i pretty much handle alone.

Greetings --

There's no hard and fast rule. A common general ratio bandied
about by the Gartner Group is 1 client support technician for every 75
to 150 client machines, depending upon the computing skills of the
user base. (Less skilled users need more frequent support, but more
advanced users find/create more "advanced" problems.)
