on occasion when i logon to windows, my desktop theme changes from classic to
windows xp automatically. it's an easy fix for the rest of my session ... i
just go into display properties and change it, but it's really annoying. i
was wondering if anyone has run into this before and is there a permanent fix
to this problem?

you might want to
disable the themes
service. it can be
found via admin
tools and listed
in services.
