Is there a way to put seldom used desktop shortcuts into a desktop folder
(the idea being to keep the shortcuts available but out of sight until the
folder is clicked on)? I did some searching in my books and online but
couldn't find anything. I'd be grateful for any help. I use Windows XP with
SP3 installed.

Thanks much!

Jo-Anne

Create a folder - move the shortcuts into it?

Yeah, that's what I did, too. I created a folder called "Old Shortcuts",
but it is NOT on the desktop - rather, it is simply on the hard drive in its
own folder.

XP offers to do this by default unless you have disabled it.

Right-click the desktop, choose New|Folder. A new folder should appear
on the desktop. Name it anything you want, drag whatever shortcuts you
want into it.

Thank you, Shenan! I wasn't sure how to do it. Someone else said what to do,
and it worked.
