Anyone know the latest version of Desktop Search?

I see the there is:

Windows Desktop Search 3.0 RTW for Windows XP (KB917013)

But then at the MS Desktop Search Site they still list 2.6.6

Is this version 3 still beta?

From what I can tell, both versions are "current". WDS 3.0 came out a
while ago, and yet a new update to 2.6 came out just a few days ago. If
you go to the WDS site, it leads you to 2.6 only. You have to dig around
to even find the 3.0 pages. Apparently 3.0 is for "early adopters".

Of course, there is always the trusty Google Desktop Search...
