Using Dell laptop and Windows xp with all updates.
This morning TASK BAR was on left side instead of along bottom where
it used to be.
Haven't been able to find proper control to change it.
Please help.

You can drag it back. Point at a blank spot on the bar, and drag where you
want it. There is a rightclick for the menu that has "lock the taskbar' to
prevent that from happening again.

Right click on the task bar, if there is a check mark next to 'lock taskbar'
left click to remove the check mark.
Then left click and hold in the task bar and 'drag' to the bottom of the
screen.
Right click the task bar again and click 'lock taskbar' - this should
prevent the taskbar moving again.

Hope this helps
