HELP! When I add web content (desktop items) to my XP,
they work fine, EXCEPT I lose transparency on my Icon
labels. Any ideas? I would like to have desktop items,
but label transparency is more important...

Please email me directly if you have a solution

Dan

There is no fix for this, at this time. Enabling web content, causes the
colored border around the icon text to appear.

I have the same problem. I hope there is a fix for this
soon.

My email is down, so hopefully you can get this and try it.
Right click my computer and choose properties. Then go to the advanced tab,
where it says performance, click on the settings button. The second last
item in the list on the visual effects page says "use drop shadows for icon
labels on the desktop". See that it is checked, apply it, then it should
take effect and you should get your transparency back. If you have this set
for the computer to adjust it for best performance, then it automatically
takes out the check mark.
