Desktop Icons

Since I had to do a reload on my computer, I can no
longer use my saved icons on the "Desktop Icons" such as
My Computer, My Documents etc. I get a message stating
they are not valid Windows Icons. I was able to use them
before my reload and can still use them on all the other
icons on my desktop. Any ideas on how I can use them
again??
