I change the icons for My Computer, Recycle Bin etc. and save them as my
theme. But after users are switched, the icon images revert back to what they
were before I changed them. But the theme isn't saying its changed, even
though the icons are now reverted to what they were before.

Note: The layout hasn't changed. The icons are in the same position where I
put them. It's the image I set to use has reverted.

It does not happen to the other user on the computer. We are both set as
administrators .

Any ideas?

nVidia drivers caused this in the past. Here is a workaround:

Thank you!

But I do not have this:
"HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Clsid"

Is there another way to fix this?

HKCU implies HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Actually the Themes can be per-machine setting also. That means it may be
stored in the following branch:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{guid-number}\DefaultIcon

However, it's better to disable the software that's causing the problem in
the first place.
