Hi Michael,

A keypress combo can accomplish the same feat:
WindowsLogoKey + M will minimize all windows
the same way as the "Show Desktop" shortcut does.

If you want to recreate a lost "Show Desktop" Icon:

Open Notepad and enter the following text:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save the new file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop
the icon onto your Quick Launch bar again. Good luck! :-)
