Open an empty Notepad file. Give it these contents:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
And save it as
Show Desktop.scf
Put it on your Quick Launch bar or wherever else you want it.
