I, obviously, have a desktop folder...
there are 46 files (shortcuts) in this folder...,however...

only 45 icons 'appear' on my monitor's desktop, i.e. one of them is missing.

How can I send this file to my physical desktop, for the command..."send to
desktop" is missing, because, theoretically, the file should already be on
the desktop.???

Please explain??

Open Notepad > Save The Notepad as "Desktop as
Shortcut.DESKLINK" (without quotation marks)

Hello,

I am pretty sure that the last file is the "desktop.ini" file. If you enable viewing hidden files,
you can see the file on the actual desktop as well as the desktop folder in windows explorer.
