Desktop/Documents Not Syncing

One of our users is unable to sync desktop and documents to the server.
Syncing works fine when logged in as another user. We tried completely
removing the account from the Active Directory and re-adding it, but that
didn't change anything.

We are enforcing syncing via Group Policy, and a gpresult is showing that
the policy is being applied. Any thoughts on what we can do next in order to
troubleshoot further?
