Hi to all,

I have a comp (Win XP, AMD, 2 partion). Comp acts very strange.
Desktop desapear.If I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del Windows Task Manager appear and
with new task all running well. My question's are: Where is my desktop
(all icons and buttom bar)? How can I repair that?

select explorer.exe in process tab in Task Manager,
than click end task.
then select File > New task(Run..) in Task manager.
Type explorer.exe then click OK.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

1. Check Virus and Spyware.
2. Disable or stop the unnecessary entry in startup and Registry under HKLM/Run, HKCU/Run.
3. Disable or remove unnecessary hardware.
4. Enable Bootlog and check what's going on when your PC boot
