Steve,
I corrected thr problem which was happening because of two setting changes.
I deselected "Use High Contrast" on the Display Tab of Accessibility
Options. Then I selected "Use Windows Classic Desktop" on the General Tab
of Folder Options when in My Computer.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
