I have been using Outlook 2007 for over a year. Suddenly this morning I am
not visual getting alerts when I get a new email.
I checked my settings under Advanced E-Mail options and everything is as it
should be. I get the sound, but not the preview of the email message that
used to appear in the bottom right corner for a few seconds. I changed the
time to 15 secs and upped the transparency, but nothing appears.
No changes have been made to this computer in quite a while to software or
hardware, so what may have stopped these alerts?

I noticed the same thing...happened this evening. I recently installed Vista
Business 64 bit (was using Vista Home),....and I initially saw the desktop
alert working after the install. But it just stopped. I can't even get the
PREVIEW to work !!!
