Check the "install by" date on the cartridges. I would expect that the
cartridges are out of date, as storing cartridges for long periods of time may
cause this problem. Check the warranty date as shown at the following:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/printer.../bpa02014.html If the
cartridges are still under warranty return them to your dealer or HP for a
replacement. If the cartridges are beyond the two year warranty get a new
cartridge. When purchasing new cartridges I would look for an "install by"
date at least six months in the future.
