I was at a website I like and while I was there I right-clicked on one of
their pictures and chose the menu option: "Set as desktop item". I've now
decided I don't want this picture on my desk top, but I realize I don't know
to get rid of it. I've tried everything I can think of. Help

Simply right click on the Desktop and go to properties. Then the Desktop tab.
When you're there, choose a new background wallpaper.

If you would like to delete the Desktop Item as well, click the Customize
Desktop button on the same tab. A new window pops up. Select the Web tab and
highlight the item you don't want and press the Delete button. Exit by OK.
