The designer for base class 'System.Windows.Forms.Form' is not installed

Any ideas on how to cure the following error ?

The designer could not be shown for this file because none of the classes
within it can be designed. The designer inspected the following classes in
the file:

frmBrowser --- The designer for base class 'System.Windows.Forms.Form' is
not installed.

I have rolled back to a working version of the application (2 days ago) when
i know it was working, but all old copies now give me the same error
message.

However any new applications work fine.

Basically it will display code only, and no forms.
Any throughts ?
