designed a web page with layers, it looks fine on my computer but the layers
move around on other peoples not everybodys. how can i stop this?

The layers don't actually move, it is the rest of your page content based on the browser's window
opening.

You need to read up on the pros and cons of using CSS positioning.

or

You need to use tables to structure your page layout.
