In design view, Ctrl-clicking a link will attempt to open the liked file
for editing - the linked file will open in a graphics editor, in Code
view, design view or some other editor depending on the type of file and
the settings in Tools->Site Settings - Configure Editors
In Design View every link will be displayed as though they have never
been visited. In Preview they will display as they will in Internet
Explorer - if they are purple, then you have viewed them before either
in IE or in FP Preview. Delete your Internet Explorer History to see
them as not visited (or change the colour settings for links in the page
to display both visited and non-visited links with the same colour).
