I Excel 2007 when in Design Mode you can edit content of CommandButtons,
ComboBoxes and TextBoxes. There is a Quick Access Button called "Design
Mode" that will turn off and on this Design Mode. This is not working. When
you press it nothing happens. It stays in Design Mode and doesn't return to
where they function as CommandButtons, ComboBoxes and TextBoxes. How do I
get it to change to the functioning mode?

Working OK here when i add the button from the developer tab to the QAT.

Try if you have the same problem in fresh new workbook

Or try removing it from the QAT and adding it back.

Delete the Design Mode QAT Button and Restarted the workbook and now it is
stuck in Program mode and when you press design mode, it will not come up.
Is there any way of toggling it in another way?

I added Design Mode to my QAT yesterday as a test and it seemed to work
fine. The other option is to use the Design Mode button on the Developer
tab.
