Hi.

Does anybody have any advice regarding deploying an application
to about 400 PDA's.

Since no-touch is out, is it possible to download the msi from the web to the
pda and install in-situ??

This could be real head-ache for my clients and me.

A web app is possible but I want to leverage some of the windows form controls
in a normal app if possible.

Thanks.

Stephen.

Hello, Stephen

You can build a web page for PDA users to download .cab files
from server into PDA's "My Document" folder, and then use
PDA file explorer to click .cab files to install applications.

MSI can NOT be executed from PDA.

The other way is to download the .msi file from web page into
users' PC, and install applications from their PCs.

Stephen,
My company, Hood Canal Systems, has a hosted package called NetPerceptor
Device Manager that's designed to deploy Windows Mobile applications to
hundreds or even thousands of devices automatically. It's easy to use,
inexpensive, and will take the headaches out of your software deployments.
For more information, you can visit our website at
http://www.hoodcanalsystems.com or you can contact us at sales @
hoodcanalsystems.com.

Thanks,
Rob Tiffany

Hello, Chris

I've registered this event in MSDN WebCast, and I don't understand
what you mean 'repeating this presentation'...

Did you give that presentation in MSDN before?
