I can’t seem to get the applications to deploy with a custom image. When the
wizard prompts me to add additional applications and I select one, the image
comes down but no app nor do I get the applet that tells you that the image
deployment was successful. My initial thought was that after the mini-setup
ran, it no longer logged on automatically. I was getting an error stating the
admin password did not match or couldn’t be change blah, blah (Hit OK). I
have
manually logon to the domain or the local admin account.
When I captured the image, I had to edit my Sysprep.inf. The AdminPassword
was encrypted so I corrected that issue by changing AdminPassword= to
”P@ssw0rd” and edit the encryptpassword=no. I also added Autologon=”Yes” &
Autologoncount=3. The system now logons in automatically but still no
applications nor do I get the applet that tells me that the image deployment
was successful or shows any errors. Is it the Sysprep.inf file prior to
running Sysprep or is it the BDD app?

I forgot to mention that I'm referring to BDD 2007

I have the same problem. It seems to be because the State Restore
Phase is not running after it boots out of WinPE so a) Apps won't
install. b) The user state will not be restored if you are using USMT
and c) The MININT folder will not be deleted because the reimage we
never "done". I have not had any luck figuring out why it skips the
last phase though. If you ever figure out what was wrong I would
appreciate if you could post your solution.
