Hiu all,

I am just playing aorund with an experiment and need some help.

I am tyring to create an image for a hypathetical disribution. I have
had no problems using an unattended isntall for the initial install of
xp. I then installed all the programs for xp that I wanted. I then ran
sysprep and selected the mini setup option. I then "resealed" the
image and ghosted it.

I restored the image and started windows. Everything looked great.
However, I noticed two things. One, When I entered a new admin
password during the mini setup, the admin password remained the same
as the one I created during the intial install of XP. Two, I was not
prompted with the screen that says something like "who will use this
computer". The screen that in the final stages of the xp install has a
list that starts with "Full Name" and then has something like 6 or 7
blank lines that you can use to create additonal accounts.

So, my question is this. How can I get the admin password to actually
change during the Mini setup, and how can I get that account creation
screen that appears during the intial setup, to appear on my system
after I have ghosted the image to a new machine?

I know this can be done because I have seen systems come from dell
this way.

I am not opposed to redoing the whole image process again. Nor am I a
stranger to answer files. So, if anyone can help, I would much
appricate it.

Thanks.
