I want to deploy a VB .NET application to client machines that will
have the .NET framework, but no Crystal Reports installed. I do not
want to add the Crystal Merge Modules, like reportengine.msm, etc, to
my app. Is there any other way to get this to work on a client
machine, like placing some dll's in the client's app folder? I haven't
even been able to find out what dll's are included in these merge
modules.

This is the way for update the client machine to support crytal reports
modules, is like install the framework at your client machine, but for the
crystal report files, I think you are looking for the specific dll(s) the
crystal install, maybe this file give you some idea, I personally will like
to study this scenario. The problem with this redistribution files of
crystal is that they depends of the version you have at your development
machine, embedded or full packed

I want to know a real solution to for this case; I hope you get some help
