Hi

I am developing a .NET app on Win XP Sp2. The app is deployed to a Windows
2000 server. The company standards dictate that MDAC 2.7 SP1 is installed on
these servers. When I come to deploy my app I get an error that the wrong
version of MDAC is installed. This is because the app has been built on a
Win XP SP2 box (ie MDAC 2.8) and deployed to a Windows 2000 box with MDAC 2.7
SP1.

Where is the problem I here you ask ! At the moment the company is not
allowing me to upgrade the server to MDAC 2.8 (as other applications run on
the server).

So, is it possible to build the app (on the Win XP box using Visual Studio
2003 Enterprise) so that it uses MDAC 2.7 SP1?

If not is it possible to effectively downgrade the Win XP box to MDAC 2.7
SP1 - say by installing the MDAC 2.7 SP1 Refresh?

Thanks for any help.
