Thanks Tom. What you have suggested makes sense and I went over the sample
database regarding the topic. I have failed to replicate it.

The link above is to the webpage regardnng my question. It is not simple to
create dependant combo forms. In Excel it is alot easier. In Access, why is
their a need to create ID for the catoegory and product type and a VB
procedure to refresh tha data at all times. I would like to find a easier
way to create dependant lists. I was thinking that two or more tables are
related and hence the lists can be recalled as you would recall data in a
table.
Please lets find an easier way.
