I'm not sure if this is possible in the WinXP O/S itself (normally handled at
the router or with a 3rd party app), but is it possible to deny access to
certain web sites on a WinXP system that's not in a managed environment?

Thanks!

go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc open file hosts use it might be hidden
by default so enable yor show hidden files settings then add the url u wish
to deny access in the below format
127.0.0.1 www.blockthissite.com
