intial layout is as follow. internet-wireless router - switche- server 2003
and 8 destopks connect to switch. is that sound OK? please help. which is the
best recommendation for my my network. i want 8 desktops be able to open same
files from the server. any recommendations for the brand of switch or router
i should buy? i'm looking at least 16 ports switch.

What is the wireless for? Consider carefully any privacy/security
considerations--you don't want nearby folks able to see patient records.

The scheme seems fine on the surface--but you should be sure that whatever
software you are running is designed for running on a network.
