Either way will work, but the Assistant CD will be
quicker since it automates creating your diagnostic
partition, your RAID containers, installing RAID drivers,
and installing Dell OpenManage.
I prefer to use the Assistant CD because it makes my job
of documentating the deployment easier. I can "assume" a
successful vendor install and then document from there.
This way the docs work for a preinstalled or freshly
installed OS.
