Is there a listing available that shows which Dell power supplies are
proprietary and which are standard ATX power supplies?

Ask in alt.sys.pc-clone.dell .

There are a couple of regulars there that know by model and line.

Hello,

For your references:

DELL POWER SUPPLIES:

http://www.comp-recycle.com/1psdell.htm

http://www.endpcnoise.com/cgi-bin/e/dellconverter.html

http://www.pcpowerandcooling.com/pro...ector/dell.htm

Meanwhile, you can enter the key words of "Dell power supplies" "standard
ATX" in Google and search.

HTH!

Thanks & Regards

Thank you for the reply. I've seen this converter advertised. Is there any
way to tell from just looking at a Dell power supply whether it is
proprietary or standard ATX? I certainly don't want to fry anyone's
motherboard.

That site has a picture and some information re. Dell models and how to
tell. (That was the main reason I posted it, rather than the converter.)
