I have 3 Optiplex GX150s, all purchased at the same time,
all with same software and hardware. They all hang
and/or freeze when users click on the drop-down box in IE
to pull up a previously used URL, the drop-down box to
browse for a file location in Word, Excel, etc., or the
drop-down box to attach a file in Outlook. They are all
up to date on Windows/Office update, BIOS from Dell,
etc.

The only thing in the even log is event ID 1000 /
userenv. The only pertinent Technet article says to
apply the latest service pack.

TIA
